Drainage and Permeable Mountain Trails
The trail engineering works within the existing hydrological constraints of the Tropical Mother Forest (雙溪熱帶母樹林), using low-impact ecological construction methods (生態工法) to manage surface runoff while minimizing site disturbance.
Log-Stepped Permeable Trails
The trail profile utilizes on-site timber and stone (現地材料) to manage the steep slope topography without deploying cast-in-place concrete or heavy infrastructure.

The spatial interface of this trail utilizes a porous edge condition to transition smoothly between active pedestrian circulation and the sensitive ecology of the surrounding tropical mother forest.

Repurposing felled trees and natural wood remnants (倒木) as localized landscape boundaries.

Natural Stone Steps and Slope Stabilization
Rather than imposing rigid, cast concrete stairs that would disrupt sub-surface root structures and alter localized hydrology, these steps are manually set to follow the hillside’s existing contours.
Log-Stepped Permeable Trails
Engineered to negotiate deep forest topography while safeguarding the surrounding old-growth root systems.
